Computers? The End or Beginning?

Well thanks for all you guys who have responded, that was super fast!! I definately doubt I'll write as much as a certain wonderful guy I know...But I'll try not to leave it for too long! So...how often do you think people should update a blog? Once a week? A couple of times a week? Every day?? Couple of times a day? I mean, I'm all for this thing, but when does it become too much of someone's everyday life? There's no possible way of getting away from computers these days, and I'm sure none of us would want to...but when is it too much? Do we really let it rule our lives?? ..Just something to think about!
Oh, and on that topic! What's this MSN thing? Is it easier for you to talk to someone over the internet than to acctually talk to them face to face? Or are you like me and like to talk to someone in person? I think even phones are a little better...then at least you can hear the person's tone of voice.... Take sarcasm for example. I'm sure you've all had some sort of misunderstanding because of sarcasm on MSN, or some other instant messaging service. I'm not gonna come right out and say that our society is doomed because we can't even talk to poeple face to face anymore...but again, just something to think about. Next time you have something to say to someone, are you gonna take the easy way out and send and e-mail or instant message...or txt message...or are you gonna take the time to talk to the person, give them a call and meet up?
PS: All our vocabularies could use some enhancment...so from now on, with every post there will be a new word to add!
TODAY'S WORD: convivial [kuhn-viv-ee-uhl]
What does it mean?
1.friendly; agreeable: a convivial atmosphere.
2.fond of feasting, drinking, and merry company; jovial.
3.of or befitting a feast; festive.

Not only did you beat me, but rendered my comment redundant...in almost everyway.

So, what I was going to say, If you have a life, weekly is a good thing. If you don't...you could go hourly if you wanted. But that is gross.

And yes, msn has taken over many people, but I'm pretty sure most people I know prefer to physically hang out than to have cyber parties all the time. But there are benefits to it, you must admit. If almost constant connection is a benefit...

And, yes, as a challenge to your veiwers you should habve them incorperate the word of the post into their comment. I think that would bring a convivial feeling to the blog. hee hee.
