Embrace it!

Hello.. This post is gonna be about embracing who you are, and who everyone else is! ..Let me explain. A lot of people always find something wrong with themselves, and/or others. This isn't just about your own image, it's about everyone else's too. ..Well.. guess what! Embrace EVERYONE.. tall, short, skinny, fat, "ugly", "pretty" ..(Those are in quotations because they are both in the eye of the beholder!).. Check this picture out.

I'll explain what that's about... All those women are wearing the same red bathing suit, with their current weight written across the chest. I think that's soooooo cool! This quote followed the picture...

It's Valentine's Day on Wednesday, eh? Or singles' awareness day as some like to call it.. I don't see it as such a big deal, everyone makes it out to be this HUGE thing.. when really, it's just an excuse to tell someone you like them, or give a girlfriend or boyfriend a gift. I mean, so what if you're single on valentine's day? Give a friend a card or something! haha.. I mean, even if you don't have a "significant other" .. you're never truly single.. that's what friends are for, right? Well..... unless all your friends have dates.. and you really are left alone.. but even then, who cares? Any other day if all your friends were busy it wouldn't be so bad.. so why does it have to be bad on Valentine's Day? Sheesh. It never ceases to amaze me how everyone blows everything WAYYYYY out of proportion..

Not Such A Baby Anymore.

It was my baby sister's birthday today. And well.. I guess I've got to stop calling her my "baby" sister... she's 9 as of today. Where did THAT come from? I remember when my mom was pregnant.. and when she was born.. I used to ask my mom if I could do laundry because I loved the little baby clothes. :P Well.. anyways.. We went to Woody's for dinner, and for those of you who don't know it, it's a little restaurant in Sidney.. it's 50s themed and it's really beachy.. really cute. She had a sleepover party, so her little girlfriends and her all dressed up 50s themed, it was adorable! We ate dinner, and then order the "Big Kahuna!" ..hehe! They give you a pail, a metal beach pail, filled with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream, brownies, candy, whipped cream, and sprinkles... Disgustingly huge, there was 5 of us eating it, and we didn't finish it!! They give everyone a plastic shovel, like the ones that you used to play with in the sand box when you were little.. and everyone just digs in! It's amazing! Messy.. but amazing!
